From Seed to Sale: Tracked and Regulated
Video Transcribed: What regulations does State Question 820 require the OMMA to develop? I am Oklahoma marijuana business defense attorney Ope Adegbuyi.
The initiative will require the OMMA to develop the following regulation to impact the program. One, to establish licensing processes, procedures, and fees, and to develop standards, procedures, and requirements for cultivation, manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, and testing marijuana products.
To create labeling standards, list THC and CBD amounts and establish packaging requirements. To establish security requirements and to create procedures to prevent sales to underaged individuals. To prohibit advertising of marijuana products that could be attractive to children or resemble candy or other products. To create a seed to sell marijuana tracking system. To provide that no adult-to-use dispensaries may be located within 1000 feet of a school, and to prohibit adult-use dispensaries from selling tobacco or alcohol at the same location.
So basically the regulations will be almost similar. There’s also a requirement that the regulations should be similar to the medical marijuana regulations as well.
