Don’t Let Your Green Thumb Land You in Trouble
Video Transcribed: What are the requirements for home grows? I am Ope Adegbuyi. a Tulsa medical marijuana business lawyer.
Home grows basically are products that are grown by medical marijuana patients in their homes. So patient-grown marijuana must be on real property that is owned by the patient, or the patient must have written permission from the real property owner to grow marijuana. The marijuana products cannot be visible to someone with 20/20 vision from any street adjacent to the property.
So that means that the only way you can grow marijuana in your home is if, one, you own the property, and two, if you have a landlord and they’ve given you written permission for you to grow in your home. And then whenever you’re growing, it has to be within the four walls of your home and it can’t be seen from someone on the outside.
