The Verdict Is In
Video Transcribed: Is Oklahoma a legal recreational marijuana state? I am Oklahoma medical marijuana business attorney, Ope Adegbuyi, and the answer is no.
Oklahoma voters, on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, rejected a ballot initiative that would have legalized recreational marijuana in the state, making it one of the states that have voted down such a measure, even if the other 21 states in the country have legalized it in the past 10 years. So this means that State Question A20 was not passed, and all the rules and benefits from State Question A20 do not apply. And so we’re only a medical marijuana state controlled by the OMMA.
